I am a composer and sound designer based in Toronto, Canada. I have over 25 years of studio and live experience as a musician, composer, sound designer and producer. My production music and sound design have been broadcast on TV world wide.

I have been working in the pro audio industry, in the New York City area, for the past 13 years, first on the retail side, as a consultant and eventually as a technical writer. My knowledge of professional audio and music technology is often called upon within the music community. A major part of my consulting work is as a technical writer for the New York City-based B&H Photo Video Pro Audio, where I contribute to their professional source books.

I am an avid field recordist, and can almost always be found with a portable recording device close by. Many of the sounds that I capture invariably end up as the raw material for new musical concepts. I have travelled extensively throughout Morocco to document the country’s rich traditional music, and I maintain a website, http://www.moroccanmusic.com, which features some of the recordings I've made there.
